When Does the Period for Filing a Lawsuit Begin?<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In accordance with Article 7\/2 of the Procedure of Administrative Justice Act (\u0130YUK), the period for filing a lawsuit is, following the notification of the act, <\/span><b>the following day<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> processing begins.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Special Circumstances:<\/b><\/h3><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Regarding tax and financial obligations:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The period begins from the day following the date on which the tax\/penalty notice is served.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>In notifications by public announcement:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In public service by advertisement to persons whose address is unknown, the period, <\/span><b>15 days after the final publication date<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> starts.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>In regulatory proceedings:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It starts on the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.<\/span><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These details are particularly important in matters such as tax law and environmental regulations.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>3. What Happens if the Filing Period is Incorrectly Notified?<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pursuant to the second paragraph of Article 40 of the Constitution:<\/span><\/p><p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe State is obliged to state in its proceedings the legal remedies and authorities to which the persons concerned may apply and their time limits.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to this constitutional guarantee, if the administration notifies the time period incompletely or incorrectly, it shall not result in any disadvantage for the individual.
